Independence LED Offers $10 Million in Energy Incentives

Independence LED recently announced that it will offer $10 million in energy incentives to celebrate the win for the Best Lighting Retrofit at the EBie Awards.

The EBie Awards were created by Urban Green Council, the New York Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, to reward the people working in Existing Buildings (EBies) who have made efforts to improve environmental performance, but whose merits was not well known. The core criteria for the Best Lighting Retrofit "Shine a Light on Me" is the greatest reduction in building lighting energy consumption with high light quality. Independence LED won the EBie Awards by retrofitting the Davis & Warshow's Distribution Center in Mashpeth, NY.

"We hope that by starting this incentive program, we can let increasing number of people adopting the LED tubes and LED fixtures. Through using LED lights, property owners can see the efficiency and quality of our U.S. Made LEDs. The results include both saving money and protecting the environment," said Charlie Szoradi, CEO of Independence LED.

This $10 Million Incentive Program provides rewards including Independence LED retrofit tubes, LED parking garage fixtures and LED high bay fixtures. The region of this Incentive Program is the whole New York Metro Market. Independence LED also offers separate National Grant programs for Women, Minority, and Veteran Owned Businesses as well as U.S. Manufacturing Companies. The registration time will start on July 1st and end on September 2nd. The incentives are awarded based on the sequence of date stamped purchase orders, until the funds run out.
