The Interacket jacket lights up according to the color of objects the user touches, the inclusion of two Arduino chips and a color sensor enable the suit to light up in different colors.
Inner layer of the garment consists of a reflective foil as found in emergency heating blankets and is lined with red, green and blue LEDs.
Bright LEDs might make it difficult for the user to camouflage effectively at night, but the designers hopes the jacket applications can be an effective safety clothing for nighttime activities such as biking. The designers have not revealed when the jacket will enter mass production phase.
