Hubbell Lighting's Prescolite Adds Three High Performance LED Downlights to its Extensive Product Line

Hubbell Lighting, a world leader in lighting innovation, announced three new Prescolite LED solutions for downlighting applications—a 6” LiteBox LED downlight module (LB6LEDA10L), a 6” Retroficient LED downlight (RLC6LED), and a wall wash version of the 4” LiteFrame LED downlight (LF4LED). Prescolite’s products bring an exceptional combination of outstanding light output, high efficiency, beautiful color, and greater affordability to downlighting applications.

Offering an outstanding efficacy at 87 lumens per watt, Prescolite’s LB6LEDA10L LiteBox LED downlight module is the premiere downlight solution for new construction as well as retrofit applications with existing 6” recessed housings using the screw base adapter included. The LiteBox’s high 1000 lumen output and distribution are comparable to a 75W PAR lamp, while consuming only 12 watts of energy, making it the perfect energy efficient choice for light commercial environments. The downlight is available in 3000K and 3500K with an 80+ CRI; provides flicker-free dimming to 15% with most standard dimmers; is suitable for temperatures up to 25oC and wet locations; has an integrated aluminum heat sink for excellent thermal management; comes in several trim colors; and can be configured as a fire rated fixture or cylinder. The LB6LEDA10L is ENERGY STAR® qualified and complies with California Title 24 requirements when used with the DBXQL housing.

Designed as a cost effective, energy efficient replacement for commercial CFL downlights, Prescolite’s Retroficient RLC6LED is a commercial grade retrofit LED downlight.  The RLC6LED includes an adaptable trim ring and adjustable j-box that can be easily mounted from below the ceiling into existing 6” aperture housings.   With lumen packages ranging from 1000 to 1600 delivered lumens, the RLC6LED can replace up to a twin 26W CFL fixture with 50% of the wattage generating a rapid payback in energy savings and lamp replacement.  The dimmable downlight features Prescolite’s high quality spun aluminum reflectors to create a smooth distribution with a visually appealing 45-degree cutoff and is available in color temperatures ranging from 2700K to 4000K.  RLC6LED is rated for a minimum of 50,000 hours life (70% lumen maintenance) and is backed by Prescolite’s 5-year warranty.

Continuing to add to Prescolite’s strong line-up of LiteFrame LED products, the company’s specification grade, 4" LED wall wash downlight brings greater lighting design flexibility to meet customer needs. The LF4LED line utilizes remote phosphor technology to obtain color consistency, energy savings and low maintenance costs. The fixture is wiHUBB® compatible; is ENERGY STAR® qualified (Alzak reflector model); has a 50,000 hours minimum life up to 35ºC (95°F) in open plenum applications; is suitable for wet locations; and comes standard with 80 CRI in all Kelvin temperatures. A remote emergency battery backup option is available for the LF4LED that includes a remote test switch and indicator light.
