Taiwanese LED manufacturer Shuoen Tech has developed a graphite heat sink that solves heat dissipation issues in high-powered LEDs in standard MR16 sized products or smaller. The heat sink’s dissipation potential is about 7W and it can control and maintain LED system temperatures at about 80 degrees Celsius. The light has a Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) of 3,000 K and can reach 500 lumens. It has the full capacity to replace conventional 50W MR16 halogen lamps.
There are currently many types of MR16 LED lamps on the market, but many have heat dissipation issues and can only be applied in low brightness products. To solve the issue devices need to be enlarged or fans need to be added on, making the standard sized MR16 luminaires unusable. Structures installed can transform the lights appearance, and fans can become dusty and noisy.
In comparison, the 7W MR16 by Soen Tech not only keeps the standard MR16 size, it also has the features of modern and stylish appearance, as well as different color choices that have been well received by clients. Based on current MR16 market trend, Soen Tech R&D team has developed dimmable MR16 system, which will enable the product to be applied in many different applications. The system’s dimmable system can be dimmed to 5% brightness without flickering, and presents the best effects. This product series has entered sample phase, and will be mass produced soon.
The company started LED graphite heat sink R&D in 2010. The graphite heat sink uses high heat transmission and radiation material to make the high-power LED heat sink, that aims to help the industry design high spec LED lighting products to meet market demands. The current sales strategy is mainly focused on high-end MR16, and is entering the dimmable MR16 market. The company’s product has passed domestic manufacturer tests and launched shipments. The product’s main clients are hotels, restaurants, wholesalers, and mansion construction projects. For more information please see: www.shuoen.com.tw
