Excellence Opto, Inc. Expands Its Facility in Michigan to Serve the LED Automotive Lighting Market

Excellence Opto, Inc. (EOI) is pleased to announce its expansion of its new facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The new 10,000 square foot facility will serve the increasing demands of the LED Automotive lighting market. EOI has actively focused on LED automotive lighting in the past 12 years. As a result, the LED automotive lighting now accounts for about 60% of the revenue of the company. The LED lighting products that include industrial lights, roadway lights, and signal lights makes up the rest.

The new facility located in Grand Rapids will now serve as EOI’s hub for the sales and distribution center of automotive LED lighting products. Excellence Opto, Inc. (EOI) provides solutions to ODM and OEM automotive programs from circuit design, mechanical design, optical design and thermal solutions. EOI also provides contract manufacturing for the LED products. EOI has proven its capability for the turnaround time in the design stage for prototypes, the innovation of providing solutions to intricate designs, and timing for reaching the goal of the project. “The secret of our success is in our superior level of service and our attention to details for each and every one of our customers,” said Fanny Huang, President and CEO of Excellence Opto, Inc. The main facility in North America is located in Pomona, CA. It is still the operation base for EOI with production, sales team, marketing and technical tea to serve the North and South American markets. EOI’s headquarter and factory (total of 250,422 sq. ft.) is located in Chunan, Taiwan. A new factory at Chang-an, China, will soon to be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2013. The rapid expansion of EOI has will boost the current monthly production capacity fourfold.

In addition, Excellence Opto, Inc. (EOI) has tendered for about 50,000 pieces LED street lights in North America. The e-lite star™ SL2 LED roadway lighting has won the Recognized Award in the Next Generation Luminaire (NGL) 2012 Outdoor Competition 2012. E-lite star™ is the registered trademark of EOI that carries LED industrial and outdoor lighting products.
