A ten-year commitment was initiated with the kickoff of the World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit in Wuzhen, once again drawing global attention. A number of new highlights were introduced at the Wuzhen Conference this year, building on the distinctive features of previous years. The Wuzhen World Internet Science and Technology Museum is the world's first large-scale museum dedicated to the Internet.
Absen provided an integrated display solution that covers an area of over 1,100 square meters in the museum, featuring a variety of creative display products. This museum offers an immersive experience of future technological applications through true-to-life displays, glasses-free 3D technology, and AI-based digital human dialogue. It provides a comprehensive overview of key Internet technologies, landmark events, and important figures, outlining the development process of the Internet and demonstrating its positive impact on human civilization.
Designed by the China Architecture Design & Research Group, the Wuzhen World Internet Science and Technology Museum has a total floor area of approximately 43,000 square meters and features an exhibition area of about 7,000 square meters. There are six major exhibition areas in the museum, seamlessly blending storytelling with technological innovations to present a "World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit” that never ceases, spanning 365 days.
Upon entering the museum, your gaze is immediately captured by the striking art installation called "Harmony and Integration" in the atrium of the exhibition hall. Incorporating digital technology, Absen's LED-wrapped column screen artistically reflects the Wuzhen Summit's contributions to building a "global village" and a “community with a shared future in cyberspace,” offering a futuristic experience with a strong visual impact.
In “The Internet Creates a Global Platform for Collaboration" exhibition area, Absen has created an immersive corridor that perfectly showcases the history and human customs of Wuzhen. With its unique rotating design adaptable to various size requirements, combined with high-resolution LED displays and surround sound technology, it creates a realistic and breathtaking immersive space.
Since 2008, China has sequentially launched four satellites, Tianlian I-01, -02, -03, and -04, turning space-based internet into a reality. As part of the exhibition “The Internet Supports Global Digital Development", Absen's glasses-free 3D large screen allows visitors to join the mascot of the technology museum, "Wuwa,” in a profound exploration of the “Tiangong Class”, created inside China's space station. Here, they can experience the ever-evolving Internet technology that connects endless possibilities into the future.
An LED pendulum-shaped screen serves as the display medium for the comparative image installation "Half Century (Swing) Time", which simulates the vast changes in the world over the past fifty years due to the advent of the Internet. The content spans various fields, including agriculture, industry, and services, showcasing abundant creativity.
Among the installations in “The Internet Shapes Digital Civilization” exhibition area, the striking "Fresh Memories" exhibition wall stands out the most. With a concave-convex visual structure design, a retro television-style LED display wall is created to offer visitors a diverse sensory experience that combines nostalgia with innovation. It evokes intriguing ripples of Internet memories using keywords and images from different eras.
“The Internet Connects Everything across Air, Land, Sea and Space Domains” exhibition area uses LED displays and immersive interactive sensors to envision a holistic scenario of how the Internet connects space, the sky, the ground, and the ocean. Terms like Terahertz communication, smart reflective surfaces, and interstellar internet, though perhaps unfamiliar at first, are bound to elicit endless thoughts.
After a decade, the World Internet Conference remains a hub for the emergence of new technologies. Absen's true-to-life display technology assists the Wuzhen World Internet Science and Technology Museum in transforming professional Internet knowledge and history into accessible digital multimedia. Using cutting-edge Internet technology, Absen creates captivating digital interactive scenes that deepen museum visitors' understanding of the Internet. By invoking awareness and comprehension of the potential of building a community of shared destiny in cyberspace, it kindles greater imagination and hope for a more interconnected future. Absen stands as a new benchmark in the field of exhibition displays.
