New entry level S85D series adds more options to experience Samsung OLED TV’s pure blacks, bright whites, and Pantone-validated colors
Advanced S90D series now includes new 42-inch, 48-inch, and 83-inch class sizes
Samsung Electronics America today introduced the newest OLED 4K TVs to join its advanced 2024 Samsung AI TV lineup – the S85D series, and expanded size options for the S90D series – including 42”, 48” and 83” screen class sizes. The newest screens join the flagship Samsung OLED TV S95D series – the industry’s first to feature OLED Glare-Free technology for enjoying the dramatic detail of OLED without the distracting reflections – even in bright rooms with windows.
“Samsung is the #1 global TV brand for 18 years running – and, the fastest growing OLED TV [1] brand for a reason. Samsung OLED TVs deliver vivid colors and stunning contrast – plus, they are built with advanced 4K AI upscaling [2] that instantly transforms what you’re watching with incredibly sharp resolution,” said James Fishler, Senior Vice President of Home Entertainment, Samsung Electronics America. “Today, we’re giving shoppers even more options to experience Samsung OLED TVs in ways that best fit their lifestyle – whether that’s a smaller model to complete their gaming setup, or an extra-large option for the full cinematic experience.”
Amazing Detail & Brightness
The S85D series delivers expertly upscaled 4K resolution, thanks to the advanced Samsung NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor found across the Samsung OLED TV lineup, which also powers features like the Smart TV Hub and Dolby Atmos™ Sound. Samsung OLED TVs display pure blacks and bright whites for dramatic viewing experiences and the entire 2024 Samsung OLED TV lineup offers Pantone®-Validated Color so that images on the screen look as incredible as they do in real life.
In addition, the new S85D offers smooth game play with its Motion Xcelerator technology – giving you a seamless picture so you can score your next win. Complementing the display, the TVs sport an elegant and bold look and feel, with a unique contour design. [3]
