Cree to Set up LED Icons

Lately, Durham LED lighting maker Cree has planned to set up icons to represent energy efficiency and LED lighting and is hosting an event this month to do.

During the Feb. 25 brainstorming session on the Cree campus, the best images are created and will be added to a visual library of icons available for general use. The Noun Project, a Los Angeles group dedicated to the creation and archiving of icons, will facilitate the Iconathon. There are no specific technical requirements to participate in the icon-generating workshop. People who have artistic talents are encouraged to attend.
