EPIC Signs MOU with CSA

The European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC) and China Solid State Lighting Alliance (CSA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to strengthen their partnership, reported Novus Lighting.

The memorandum will encourage advancing public understanding the science of photonics, team up on information exchange, projects, events, and advisory mandates with the aim of bringing cooperation, and new lighting technologies and innovations to the market.

CSA is a non-for-profit organization that provides innovative services for emerging industries including SSL. The Chinese alliance has more than 500 members.

EPIC is an industry association that promotes sustainable development in organizations working in the field of photonics in Europe. The 290 members of EPIC include the entire value chain from LED lighting, PV solar energy, photonics IC, optical components, lasers, sensors and other related technologies.
