In the list of CES 2020 Innovation Award Honoree, several LiDAR products were named including Cube by Blickfeld, Helius Smart Lidar System by Cepton, Leddar Pixell by LeddarTech and RS-LiDAR-M1 by RoboSense. Blickfeld, LeddarTech and RoboSense were listed in the category of “Vehicle Intelligence & Transportation,” while Cepton was named in two categories, “Smart Cities,” and “Tech for a Better World.”
Blickfeld Cube is a solid-state LiDAR targeting the mass market, according to Blickfeld, the Germany-based LiDAR startup. Based on its proprietary technology of silicon MEMS mirror, the company develops LiDAR using centimeter-sized mirrors with a scanning angle of up to 100x30 degrees resulting in a range of up to 100 meters at 10% reflectivity.
