Osram Sylvania is relocating its North American headquarters in Danvers and nearby R&D facility to a single site in Wilmington next summer, according to a report by the Boston Globe.
The company occupies a total of 6,858 square meters (225,000 square feet) of space. Another R&D facility in Beverly will also be moved to the new site according to the company’s future plans.
An Osram Sylvania spokeswoman said the company will not be publish figures for the number of employees affected by the move, but added no headcount reductions are being made as a result.
