PTG and Louis Vuitton Sign Deal for LED lighting

South Korean lighting manufacturer Photonics Trade Group (PTG) has secured a KRW 5 billion (USD 4.32 million) deal with French luxury brand Louis Vuitton to supply indoor LED lighting, according to local media ETnews

Starting this year, the Seoul-based company will supply 17 types of LED lighting products to Louis Vuitton’s stores across Asia, including those in Japan, China, Singapore and Taiwan. PTG will become the fourth LED lighting supplier of Louis Vuitton along with Osram, Philips Lighting and Cree. 
 
Kong Anderson, CEO of PTG Group, said the company fuplans to increase its share in global LED lighting market to over 20% by 2020.

PTG is scheduled to start mass production as soon as it obtains safety certification from China, namely the China Compulsory Certification. The CCC certificate is a compulsory safety mark for various products sold, imported or used in China.
