The collaboration further turned into a product launch in 2018. The self-driving disinfection robot is now used in more than 40 countries in Europe, the U.S. and Asia.

The product will be fighting coronavirus in hospitals across all Chinese provinces. “With this agreement, more than 2,000 hospitals will now have the opportunity to ensure effective disinfection, protecting both their patients and staff,” said Su Yan, CEO of Sunay Healthcare Supply, a medical equipment supplier to the Chinese market.

CEO of UVD Robots, Per Juul Nielsen, indicated, “In a severe crisis like this where the world health is threatened, our innovative technology really proves its worth.”
