The City of San Fernando, Calif Chose US Lighting Tech for Street Light Retrofit

The City of San Fernando, Calif.,has chosen Irvine-based US Lighting Tech to deploy energy efficient induction street lighting.

USLT was awarded the contract in a competitive bid process, which included both LED manufacturers and other induction system providers. It will take USLT the whole summer to provide 500 units of its Cobra 100 Series Induction Streetlight to San Fernando, replacing the city’s outdated High-Pressure Sodium and Metal Halide lighting technologies.

It’s said that USLT has installed its induction products in 220 municipalities and cities, and it is the first and only induction manufacturer in the world to already have over 125,000 street lights installed on real world streets and neighborhoods across the globe.
