Joliet Junior College, has installed 634 MaxLite LED Edge Lit Flat Panels on its administration offices, newly constructed classrooms and the new campus center, expecting to save at least 30% energy consumption.
 
These panels do not cause shadows or glares. The optimal lighting also helps employees and professors at the college to work with better efficiency.

The MaxLite LED Edge Lit Flat Panels are suitable for fitting in drop ceilings. They are compatible with various types of building controls, such as daylight harvesting systems, motions sensors, timers, dimmers and other building controls. The lighting has a Color Rendering Index of 85.

The LED panels have a life of 50,000 h, which is equivalent to a life of over 13 years when used for 10 h/ day at the L70 standards. They deliver 3262 lumens of lighting.

The MaxLite LED Edge Lit Flat Panels are RoHS compliant, and are also ETL and cETL certified. The product is free from any hazardous materials, heat, UV/IR radiation or carbon emission.
