Apple iWatch Rumored to Use Flexible OLED Technology

An anonymous industry insider recently leaked to The Chosun Ilbo that Apple’s upcoming iWatch will use a flexible OLED display.

According to the South Korean newspaper, the watch will come in three different display sizes, including 1.3 inch, 1.4 inch, and 1.5 inch. It is rumored that the company is already experimenting with prototypes.

Samsung released the Galaxy Gear smartwatch last month but it left people less than impressed with its rigid display and heavy design. The expected release of the iWatch next year will show whether or not Apple can return to its position as a leading market innovator.
