Cooper Lighting Products Became the Winner in the Third Annual NGL SSL Design Competition

Reportedly, Cooper Lighting’s multiple products have been recognized for excellence by the third annual Next Generation Luminaires™ (NGL) Solid-State Lighting (SSL) Design Competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, and the International Association of Lighting Designers.

Cooper Lighting's awarded products were chosen as winners in the Recessed Downlighting and Wall Washing categories. The Cooper products are among the only 33 that were recognized winners for their excellence of 328 submitted.

The products that have been recognized, meaning they are recommended for specification, include Cooper Lighting's RSA COMBOLIGHT® Next Generation Recessed Multi-Lamp LED Downlight, the Portfolio LED Downlight Series of 4-inch and 6-inch aperture downlights and the Portfolio 6-inch aperture LED Open Wall Wash Downlight.
