Over 390 LED companies to participate Hong Kong International Lighting Fair 2009

HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) will be held through 27-30 October in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This year the fair, will feature over 1, 700 exhibitors from 31 countries and regions. First-time exhibitors are from Hungry, Poland, New Zealand and Brazil.

In the Autumn Edition, the LED Lighting Zone aims to advance the progress of green lighting. The zone occupies over 10,000 square metres and showcases over 390 LED companies from Belize, Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

At the 2008 fair, buyer Federico Ariel Palacio, General Manager of Palacio Ilumina, Argentina, stated, “This fair is ideal for us to see new products as well as catch up on new ideas and trends. We are particularly impressed with the extra bright LED technology that is on show this season as we are constantly on the lookout for more energy-efficient products for indoor use that are also versatile and more cost effective. I have been coming to this fair since its inception and the quality of exhibitors gets better each year. I am very impressed by their capabilities and their ability to stay ahead of the technological curve."
