SETI Received IET’s Innovation Awards for UVClean DUV LED Lamp

The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET, Europe’s largest professional engineering society) has honored deep ultraviolet (UV) LED maker Sensor Electronic Technology Inc (SETI) of USA as a ‘highly commended’ innovative company during its 2010 Innovation Awards.

It’s said that just in 2010, the IET received a record number of almost 400 nominations for the Innovation Awards, from which SETI was shortlisted to five entries in the category of ‘Emerging Technologies’ for the development of its UVClean deep UV LED lamps.

UVClean lamps have already been designed into customer’s disinfection products. In addition, SETI is confident that, with the benefits delivered from LEDs, UVClean will become the industry standard for UV lamps in the healthy lifestyles market.
