Uzbekistan - South Korea based JV Schedules to Manufacture LED Lighting in 2013

NUR company , Uzbekistan - South Korea based JV, has announced to manufacture LED lighting products for industry and household application since August, 2013.

EG Lightings Company from South Korea cooperated with heating and power plant in Angren, Uzbekistan have invested one million dollar to establish NUR Company. This new company will locate in Angren’s special industrial park. And the South Korean company will hold 51% share and other for Uzbekistan’s.

Firstly, this joint venture enterprise plans to import accessories from South Korea to make streetlights, and it expects to manufacture 2 million units per year. Secondly, it schedules to make products localization. Thirdly, it will come to cooperate with Uzbekistan’s chemical industry company, automobile industry company as well as electronic industry association to develop new LED lightings for automotive, home, office, advertising applications and so on.
