Taiwanese LED manufacturer Lite-On’s latest financial performance in July 2016, showed its global consolidated revenue reached NT $19.4 billion (US $630 million), setting a new record high in the last nine months.
The company’s revenue inched up 1% month-on-month, and rose 11% Year-on-Year. The company benefited from its core businesses stabilizing end market demands, and its aggregated revenue for the first seven months of 2016 was up 2% to reach NT $123 billion.
Lite-On’s consolidated revenue for July 2016 amounted to 23% of its total revenues, where LED component and outdoor lighting evidently benefited from rising market shares. The company is smoothly shipping LED automotive lighting and streetlight products, and camera modules in high end products spurred lighting modules shipments. The company’s optoelectronic business revenue in July increased 6% MoM and 5% YoY.
Lite-On’s IT business revenue share reached 47% and grew at an annual rate of 2%, in which high end servers and Internet equipment, power management systems and other high end server casings continued to grow in 2015. At the same time the company’s computer accessory products including keyboards, mouse, and other periphery products market share grew. The company also benefited from multi-functional printers and laser printer shipments, contributing to its stellar revenue performance last month.
The company’s memory device business revenue in July reached 21%, benefiting from cloud and game console market demands. The company’s revenue in July soared 60%.
