Daintree developed a new ControlScope lighting control platform

Cooperate with Easylite, Daintree developed a new control platform for SSL and other energy-efficient lighting options. And lighting control systems can save money.

The new ControlScope software platform without requiring new wiring to connect with fixtures, switches, sensors, and other devices, can control installations that scale from a small office to an entire enterprise and reside on the Wireless Area Controller (WAC).

A senior leader of Daintree noted, lighting controls only had 7% penetration within commercial buildings because cost, complexity and technology issues had held it back. Zigbee would affect retrofit installations. And more and more person would like lighting controls because lighting typically accounts for 40% of the electricity used by businesses.

Now,Daintree has focused on Zigbee wireless networks solving the problem of retrofitting buildings with lighting control systems. Its partner Easylite focused on adaptive lighting control products.
