KC HiLiTES announces the availability of the new KC Gravity LED series lights powered by KC’s patented Gravity Reflective Diode (GRD) technology. The KC Gravity LED series launches with 3 product offerings:

• 6” Gravity LED Inserts for KC halogen Daylighters® and 6-inch Pro-Sports
• 6” Pro-Sport Gravity LED lights
• 4” x 6” Gravity LED Driving lights

Through the Gravity Reflective Diode (GRD) technology, KC has combined the advantages of LED lighting with the proven performance of precision reflector optics. The GRD technology features two 10-watt LEDs that are faced at an angle toward the reflector. This maximizes their effectiveness and amplifies the amount of light that is projected out into the distance. The result is an extremely bright and highly efficient light that provides significantly greater distance vision. 

KC’s 6” Gravity LED Inserts

KC’s 6” Gravity LED Inserts allows owners of 6” halogen Daylighters® and halogen Pro-Sports to quickly and easily upgrade them to next gen LED lighting. Gravity LED inserts are an IP68 rated fully self-contained LED, lens and reflector unit. This plug-n-play direct replacement features a 20-watt GRD LED core that outperforms a 130-watt halogen Daylighter® bulb. KC 6” Gravity LED Inserts come in a choice of spot or spread beam patterns and are available individually or in pair packs. 

KC 6” Pro-Sport Gravity LED lights

KC 6” Pro-Sport Gravity LED lights put the Gravity LED technology inside the Pro-Sport’s compact and impact resistant Polymax housing. KC 6” Pro-Sport Gravity LED lights are offered in a choice of spot or spread beams and available as a single light or in pair packs with protective stone guards and a complete wiring kit featuring weather proof plug connectors. 

KC’s 4” x 6” Gravity LED Driving light

KC’s 4” x 6” Gravity LED Driving light is a fully assembled 20-watt LED light featuring an IP68 rated aluminum housing. These lights are SAE (U.S.A.) and EMARK (Europe) street legal and are perfect for a variety of bumper, front end, a-pillar and over the hood applications. KC 4” x 6” Gravity LED Driving lights are available individually or in pair packs complete with protective stone guards and wiring kit featuring weather proof plug connectors.

A primary motivation for developing the KC Gravity series was the lack of distance associated with conventional forward-facing LEDs. This is a huge issue in the world of off-road desert racing as racers can easily reach speeds at night where they quickly find themselves out-driving the capability of their LED lights. The problem is, no matter how many LEDs you have, the light generated is greatly compromise due to their extremely small reflectors. KC’s Gravity Reflective Diode (GRD) technology evolves that by significantly increasing the amount of light shaped and reflected forward out into the distance. In addition to these initial Gravity LED products, KC has aggressive plans to release additional Gravity LED lights in various sizes and applications.
