Eliminating the harsh glare of direct light sources, the Curv LED’s indirect distribution places light on ceilings and walls—minimizing reflections on the glossy screens of laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

Ideal for office, education, healthcare and municipal buildings, the Curv LED delivers efficient and glare-free lighting for just about any workplace. The fixture’s attractive curve shaped housing is designed to wrap around an inner die cast plate at each end. The solid housing features a smooth curved profile that provides 100 percent uplight while the perforated housing delivers a pleasant, glowing profile with 94 percent uplight and 6 percent downlight. Additionally, the Curv LED is offered with three end cap options to seamlessly integrate the fixture into its architectural space.

Available in three color temperatures (3000K, 3500K and 4000K) and two nominal lumen packages (4,725 or 5,250) the Curve LED’s output sufficiently replaces two-lamp or three-lamp comparable T8 fluorescent products. Compared to the industry-standard fluorescent source with a lifetime of 20 to 25,000 hours, Alera Lighting’s Curv LED offers tremendous energy and maintenance savings over its projected 60,000 hours of life with 90 percent lumen maintenance (L90).

As an option for even greater energy savings, architectural daylight and occupancy sensors can be installed on the light fixture or end treatments. The Curv LED is also compatible with Hubbell Lighting’s wiHUBB® wireless control technology.
