Taitung to Welcome 2015 with Colorful Party Show

A colorful year-end party show will kick off at night on December 31 in Taitung County, Taiwan. Taitung County governor Justin Huang welcomes visitors to join local residents to usher in 2015 together.

The party entitled “Love in Taitung” will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 31 at the county gymnasium. Local entertainer Huang Mei-chen will host a series of outstanding performances and lead the count-down to welcome the New Year.

In addition, the organizers indicated that one of the features of the event is to display a spectacular fireworks show, which will blend traditional and rock-and-roll elements in it, to provide spectators an unforgettable experience.

Organizers also will prepare 5,000 free light-emitting gifts such as rings, LED hair pins, and LED glasses during the show to light up the place.

Huang invites visitors to make use of the four-day New Year vacation to greet the first ray of sunlight of 2015, enjoy quality hot springs and a balloon festival.
