OSRAM illuminates the facade of the Deutsches Museum in Munich with modern LED lighting
To celebrate the start of the International Year of Light, OSRAM is illuminating the facade of the Deutsches Museum in Munich, Germany from July 27th to 28th with highly modern LED light. The project is supported technologically by OSRAM subsidiary Clay Paky.
With its two days installation entitled “Light is more than illumination” OSRAM is placing architecture in a new light. OSRAM CEO Olaf Berlien has given a presentation with the same title at the opening ceremony on Friday 27th.

Background knowledge Deutsches Museum
The official title of the popular museum is "Deutsches Museum of Masterpieces of Science and Technology". The museum in the Bavarian capital Munich is the largest science and technology museum in the world. It is issued by around 28,000 objects from about 50 fields of science and technology, which are visited annually by about 1.5 million people.
