Royal Philips, the global leader in lighting, has succeeded in advancing the dimmable LED light bulb beyond just dimming, to become a mood enhancing light bulb that changes color. New Philips LED WarmGlow progresses from a warm yellow white light similar to an incandescent light bulb, to a warmer reddish white light similar to a sunset, as it dims, providing a much richer experience that delivers the right light as required across the home.

“We understand the impact that the right light can have in the home. A subtle change in tone can completely transform an atmosphere or enhance a mood,” says Maikel Klomp, Global Product Manager LED Lamps. “With Philips LED WarmGlow, we are offering a high quality LED light bulb that provides beautiful ambient lighting for every room in the home, but crucially also delivers the right return in terms of energy efficiency and lifespan.”

In addition to taking dimmable LED light bulbs a step further, Philips LED WarmGlow is a high quality light bulb, which means that it not only reflects color naturally similar to daylight, but uniquely, it also dims down in a similar way to daylight by changing color.  Use dimmed up when cooking or the kids are doing their homework, and then simply dim down, to create a relaxed environment to enjoy dinner or playtime with the kids.

Like all Philips LED light bulbs, Philips LED WarmGlow can be retrofitted to anywhere traditional light bulbs are used. Try Philips LEDspot WarmGlow MV in the kitchen or bathroom, Philips LEDbulb WarmGlow Clear in the bedroom or living room and Philips LEDcandle WarmGlow Clear in dining room chandeliers for a stunning diffused light effect.
