Vishay Intertechnology introduces a new dual-color IR emitting diode designed to save space in wearable devices and medical patient monitoring systems. Offered in a compact 2 mm by 2 mm by 0.87 mm package, the Vishay Semiconductors VSMD66694 features wavelengths of 660 nm (red) and 940 nm (IR), and is built on SurfLight technology for best-in-class radiant power of 9.5 mW and 8.5 mW, respectively.
