Now, Kenall Manufacturing, a leader in specialty sealed enclosure lighting for over 50 years, is introducing the SimpleSeal™ Narrow Spectrum Red LED for vivariums – the industry’s first true red LED light.

The red LED circuit provides limited, or narrow, spectrum light for photosensitive vivarium applications and also allows for much better visibility over commonly-used filtering films. “The 630 nm wavelength red LED luminaire is less expensive, more reliable and lasts longer than incumbent technology and, as a result, helps maintain the health and well-being of laboratory animals by reducing dark cycle disruptions.
