Leviton to Talk About Smart Lighting across Middle East

Leviton announced today that the company will be running a series of seminars on various aspects of networking and lighting solutions across several countries in Middle East. The first of the series of seminars was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 26th September and followed by the seminar in Jeddah on 27th September 2017.

The inaugural seminar focused on advance LED lightening solutions, and senior executives from Leviton will present a product overview for lighting solutions in its portfolio. During the seminar experts from Leviton will also share the case study and discuss technological advances made in the lighting technology such as Power over Ethernet (PoE), which has evolved over the years that today it can run on most of the devices in our homes and offices.

PoE eliminates the need for electrical wiring, whilst it will utilize data cables creating a more intelligent lighting solution.

The other major focus area for this series of seminars would be the networking solutions and the company will hold a separate set of seminars on networking at different locations across the region to give an overview of the latest innovations and lay down the company’s roadmap in the networking space and share the growing portfolio of solutions including Internet of Things (IOT), Fiber optic cabling solutions with a focus on OM4 & OM5 Fiber Technologies, cost effective, energy saving next generation POE Lighting Technology & CPR that is going to revolutionize the Smart Home and Smart Offices.               

Another area of spotlight during the networking seminar would be Data Centre solutions & evolving CAT8 network cabling technology that is going to transport data at several times faster than today at same or lesser power per port. Leviton will also be talking about the September launch of its latest Make To Order (MTO) cell in Glenrothes Scotland, which will manufacture pre-terminated solutions with best in industry lead times.

The managing director for Leviton Middle East, Mr. Aldo Strawbridge along with regional and international experts will preside over the seminars that are expected to be attended by several partners, consultants, and customers from across the region.
