AOC has recently unveiled its new monitor, the AG274QXM AOC, on its official website.

The AG274QXM AOC boasts color gamut of 100% sRGB, 99% Adobe RGB, 98% DCI-P3 and color accuracy of Delta-E <2. With a maximum refresh rate of 170Hz, the monitor offers excellent gaming and movie-watching experiences.
The launch of AG274QXM indicates that AOC has also joined the fierce competition of gaming Mini-LED-backlit monitors. The latest survey conducted by TrendForce reveals that the shipment of gaming LCDs (defined as those with a ≥100Hz refresh rate) reached 18.4 million units in 2020 (105% YoY). Already a crucial target heavily invested by leading LCD players and panel suppliers, the gaming monitor market has seen a further increase in demand thanks to the booming stay-at-home economy. In 2021, the market is expected to continue growing, where the shipment is likely to reach 25.9 million units with a growth of 41% YoY.

Seeing a strong growth, businesses in the gaming display market have begun seeking new selling points by developing even higher end production lines, among which Mini LED backlighting stands out as a crucial technology that is expected to appear more often in the product descriptions of different brands.
The following is a list comparing the Mini-LED-backlit monitors of leading companies:
