International automotive supplier FORVIA HELLA launches a Star-Diamond Rear Lamp for the new flagship SUV 9X of Zeekr, a premium vehicle brand under the Chinese OEM Geely. The rear lamp is developed and produced locally in China and entered series production in September this year. This collaboration not only marks the first collaboration between FORVIA HELLA and Zeekr but also sets a new standard in aesthetic design with dazzling visual effects that shine and sparkle like diamonds and stars. The car has been available in the market in China since September 29.

Distinctive design: dazzling visual effects that shine and sparkle like diamonds and stars
The rear lamp adopts a distinctive dual-horizontal and vertical ring design, visually enhancing the cohesion and sense of layering at the rear of the vehicle. The upper and lower incoupling surfaces, showing a shining diamond effect. As night falls, the dynamic lighting effects resemble two flowing light strips, outlining a sophisticated blend of refinement and technology, making the car model more recognizable. To create a unique visual effect, FORVIA HELLA employs a meticulously crafted optical design solution, using an incomplete parabolic reflector surface plus dual laser lighting pattern, to make the upper and lower light strips shine like diamonds. For side star area, using lower transparency material and high gloss black lacquering with additional laser etching process, to make the left and right sides sparkle like stars.

Ultra-long size and very compact space
The Zeekr 9X model adopts a design with dual-opening tailgate. The integrated rear lamp is incorporated on its trunk and extends up to 1.7 meters, visually maximizing the width of the entire vehicle, making the model appear grander and more imposing. The lower light strip and vertical star area of the rear lamp are ultra-shallow, whereas FORVIA HELLA can still offer various optical solutions per customer willing in extremely limited space. This design not only elevates the vehicle's exterior sophistication but also provides greater flexibility and creative space for the overall vehicle design.

Within very compact space, FORVIA HELLA not only integrates various regulatory lighting functions such as position lights, brake lights, direction indicators, reverse lights, and fog lights into the rear lamp, but also achieving delicate and smooth dynamic effects like welcome and farewell animations, as well as unique visual effects. In addition, FORVIA HELLA fully cooperates with the customer and monitors the trends with precision, to introduce the intelligent assisted driving indicator in advance of market.
