Ennostar has reached new milestones in sustainability, securing three major recognitions: the National Sustainable Development Award, the 2025 Net Zero Certification Label– Bronze Level, and the TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Award– Platinum in Sustainability Reporting. The company has also earned validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), affirming that its decarbonization pathway aligns with the 1.5°C goal of the Paris Agreement. These achievements reflect Ennostar’s unwavering commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) excellence.
Guided by “Technological Innovation and Sustainable Prosperity”, Ennostar continues to strengthen its strategies in energy efficiency, carbon reduction, circular economy, and green design. The company has defined a clear emissions-reduction roadmap and achieved a 16.45% reduction compared to the baseline year by 2024. Ennostar has also joined the RE100 initiative, pledging to source 60% renewable energy by 2030 and 100% by 2050. Starting in 2025, all China-based manufacturing sites operate entirely on green electricity. In addition, the company is significantly reducing the use of fluorinated gases and deploying abatement systems expected to cut related emissions by at least 90%, demonstrating concrete action toward global net-zero targets. The SBTi validation affirms that Ennostar’s climate strategy is grounded in robust scientific standards and aligned with global supply chain expectations.
Beyond environmental initiatives, Ennostar actively advances social impact through diverse training programs, community projects, and academia-industry collaboration. Its long-running outreach initiatives— the Ennostar Dream Express, the Ennostar Fun Science Activities, and the LED Popular Science and Sustainability Education—have supported students across Taiwan for over 12 years, encouraging broader access to science and technology education.
On governance, Ennostar has established a strengthened sustainability governance framework, regularly reviewing strategic progress to ensure alignment between ESG goals and business decisions. Through transparent governance, risk management, and policy execution, the company continues to build resilience for future challenges.
Looking ahead, Ennostar will continue to advance its 2050 net-zero ambition by promoting circular economy practices, resource efficiency, and low-carbon manufacturing. With a commitment to technology for good, the company will collaborate with government, academia, and supply chain partners to build a more resilient and low-carbon industry ecosystem—leveraging photonics innovation to enhance quality of life and lead the manufacturing sector toward a smarter, more sustainable, and more inclusive future.
