MicroVision, specializing in innovative ultra-miniature laser display and sensing technology, announced that on August 28, 2017 it sold 1.5 million unregistered shares to a private investor who is also a current shareholder at a price of $2.10 per share, for aggregate consideration of $3.15 million. The last closing sale price of MicroVision’s common stock on August 28, 2017 was $2.19. MicroVision intends to use the proceeds from the issuance for general corporate purposes.
