Signify Completes Cancellation of 9.7 Million Shares

Signify announced on December 31st, 2018 that it has completed the cancellation of 9.7 million shares after the company completed its share repurchase program on December 7, 2018.

Signify began to buy back its shares in July 2018 to reduce capital. With the repurchase program, Signify has repurchased 9.7 million shares that are valued at EUR 220 million (US$ 250 million). The company then cancelled these shares by the end of 2018. Currently, the issued share capital of Signify consists of 128 million ordinary shares and 1.75% of its issued shares are held by Signify.
