Acuity Brands, Inc. released Atrius Solution Builder, an HTML5, browser-based Integrated Development Environment to help rapidly build visually-rich, interactive web-based graphical user interfaces, applications and dashboards. Light + Building in Germany’s Frankfurt am Main is a major biennial trade fair for advanced products and services that address the incorporation of luminaires into architectural designs. The event for this year will be held between 18 to 23 March, and Taiwan-based FSP Group will again be among the exhibitors that will be competing to show off their cutting-edge technologies. Seoul Semiconductor announces that its SunLike Series LEDs, which implement light closest to the spectrum of natural sunlight, have been adopted for a series of luminaires designed by FLOS Architectural, a specialty lighting company based in Spain.

LED technology has been widely adopted in lighting because it is highly energy efficient and durable.
