Creative Systems Lighting Debuts 5" IC Recessed Eco-Downlight LED

Technical lighting leader launches new product at Dallas International Lighting Market

, manufacturer of high performance, energy-efficient lighting solutions, is proud to announce the debut of its new 5" aperture IC Recessed Eco-Downlight LED. The product, which is the latest in a series of new releases over the past year, made its official debut at the Dallas International Lighting Market on January 17-21, 2013.

"As we continue to evolve our LED downlighting pipeline,  CSL added a strategic piece to our already vibrant 2” and 3” collections with the introduction of our  5” platform – which now includes NC, RM and IC versions,” said Mark D’Antonio, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CSL. “The new 5” IC product will only strengthen the line’s popularity because it sets a new standard for performance in terms of energy efficiency, light quality, the overall size being easy for builders to work with, modularity of optics and trims and more.”


The new 5” aperture IC Recessed Eco-Downlight LED features 38 input watts that deliver an astounding 2750 lumens. This product features: 80, 85 and 90 CRI packages; dimming capabilities with a standard incandescent dimmer (0-10v dimming also available); field-replaceable light engine and driver; and a light engine coded for performance maintenance replacement. Additional features include: extruded aluminum heat sink with black anodized finish; aluminum housing; galvanized steel plaster frame and adjustable hanger bars; and a stamped aluminum junction box with six ½" trade-size knockouts. All of CSL’s 5" Eco-Downlight LEDs offer five interchangeable optics to include a 12-, 25-, 45-, 65- and 85-degree beam spreads, and modularity of square and round trims that mate in the same housing.
