GlacialLight Introduces a Waterproof Down Light for Ceilings – GL-DL06-IP

- A Waterproof 6” Down Light for Wet Spaces Such As Bathrooms, Spas or Yachts -

GlacialLight, a division of the Taiwanese technology manufacturer, GlacialTech Inc., today announces waterproof LED down light, GL-DL06-IP. This compact 6” down light for wet spaces only consumes 12W. There are three different configurations of this down light available: non-dimmable, AC-TRIAC dimmable and 3-in-1 dimmable (1-10V/PWM/Resistor). All of these three configurations have three color temperature options.

In line with rest of the models in the Capella Series, GL-DL06-IP is a slim, sleek, and fashionable circular lightweight fixture. As an all‐in‐one lighting solution, it also provides for effortless installation on ceilings by mounting or placing it in a ceiling board. For ceiling mounting needs, a light fixture trim extension that hides the driver is available as an optional addition. Being IP54 rated, GL-DL06-IP is an ideal choice of a down light for wet indoor and sheltered outdoor applications, including bathrooms, outdoor corridors, spas and yachts.

This down light satisfies a very wide variety of general lighting applications thanks to its optimum 110° beam angle. The non-dimmable and 3-in-1 dimmable (1-10V/PWM/Resistor) options of GL-DL06-IP are suitable for a wide range of input voltages (100-240V AC), making them effective solutions for almost all worldwide locations. AC-TRIAC dimmable option is available in either 100-120V AC or 200-240V AC input.

GL-DL06-IP is available in a color temperature of 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Neutral White) or 5700K (Cool White). The light cast smoothly fades around the edges of the fixture thanks to luminosity reflecting on the edges and the special paint solution on the surface. This provides for an atmospheric and aesthetic effect ideal for spaces such as bathrooms or spas.

GlacialLight has designed the GL-DL06-IP LED Down Light, with environmental protection in mind, to be RoHS compliant. In addition, this down light does not contain hazardous chemicals such as mercury, and does not emit harmful UV or IR rays, making it far more eco‐friendly than lighting fixtures based on older technologies.
