Bridgelux Expands EB Series Product Portfolio

Bridgelux, a leading developer and manufacturer of LED lighting technologies, is introducing its EB Series platform of surface mount devices (SMDs) mounted on linear printed circuit boards.

EB Series linear (modules) are available in standard lengths of one, two, and four feet, as well as custom size configurations.  They are Zhaga compliant, compatible with existing optics in the market, and are best for troffer and pendant applications.

“We are aggressively expanding our product portfolio with exciting and robust solutions including the new EB Series,” said Brian Cumpston, Vice President of Product Development.  “With EB Series, we leveraged our newly scaled operations and manufacturing capabilities to deliver a product with the same compelling performance and quality for which Bridgelux is known.”

EB Series platform incorporates Bridgelux IP protected technology that provides exceptional indoor lighting for workplace safety, job productivity, and personal well-being. High quality LED lighting can boost productivity and well-being, create a welcoming environment for employees and customers, and reduce energy consumption and utility costs.

According to Strategies Unlimited, LED based commercial troffers are one of the fastest growing market segments with revenues projected to exceed US $2 billion by 2019*.  “We’re very excited to add the new EB Series to our portfolio of products.  The office and commercial industries are transforming legacy lighting technology in their troffers to LED lighting, and we believe the EB Series platform will meet this demand with quality lighting for our customers worldwide,” says Aaron Merrill, Vice President of Product Marketing.

The first EB Series linear modules are now commercially available.
