NF2W585AR-P8 is a dual function
LED that provides both white light and high doses of energy geared for inactivation of various prevalent bacteria. With a 405nm wavelength
1 die known to be effective in sterilization, this LED can be used to inactivate bacteria, such as bacteria known to cause food poisoning, while still maintaining the natural white color necessary for traditional lighting applications. NF2W585AR-P8 is particularly suitable for occupied spaces and places where a high level of hygiene is required.
Bacteria Inactivation Test Results with NF2W585AR-P8
These results are dependent on this specific test environment and conditions. Nichia did not check the effectiveness for all bacteria species in real environments.

2 Pseudomonas aeruginosa: This bacteria is seen in wet areas and has a very strong drug resistance. If the human immune system is suppressed, there is possibility that this bacteria would cause a respiratory tract infection, sepsis, etc.. Accordingly, this bacteria has received significant attention in the medical field in terms of nosocomial infection.
3 Wavelength range: 380-420nm.
