Energy savings are often the most important factor in new lighting solutions. OSRAM’s Dulux L HE compact fluorescent lamps with plug bases achieve a light output of up to 100 lumens per watt. In addition to that their long operating life means lower maintenance.
OSRAM Dulux L HE lamps are especially suitable for floor luminaires, rectangular louvered luminaires or large-volume designer luminaires. They are available in 16W, 22W, 26W and 28W versions with colour temperatures of 3,000K (warm white) and 4,000K (cold white). OSRAM Dulux L HEs achieve a light output of up to 100lm/W. The lamp achieves maximum efficiency at a temperature of 35 degrees Celsius in the luminaire.
Energy-efficient and high-performance: the OSRAM Dulux L HE family
OSRAM Dulux L HE series products have a mean operating life of 20,000 hours. When operating on OSRAM Quicktronic Intelligent (Dali) DIM electronic control gear they are dimmable to three per cent.
High light output, low maintenance costs
Efficient OSRAM Dulux L HE lamps are an especially good choice for luminaires that are on for long periods – such as in hotels and public buildings. With floor luminaires, for example, which instead of OSRAM Dulux L 55W are equipped with the new OSRAM Dulux L HE family, a major luminaire producer has achieved an increase in operating efficiency from 85% previously to 95%. The connected load was reduced by about 50%. Combined with light management systems such as the OSRAM Dali ECG and voltage sensors, additional energy savings and therefore CO2 reductions are feasible.
With recessed luminaires for ceilings OSRAM Dulux L HE lamps also show their strengths in terms of energy efficiency and acquisition costs. A system comparison between a two-lamp louvered luminaire with Dulux L HE and a four-lamp pendant each with T8 (L 18W) or T5 lamps (HE 14W) comes out in the Dulux L HE’s favour with regards to luminaire light output. By reducing the number of lamps from four to two, maintenance costs for replacements can be minimised.
