Lextar Electronics Corp. Successfully Lit Up Taiwan First* 6-inch LED Chip Processed Wafer

Lextar Electronics ("Lextar" or the "Company") (TAIEX: 3698) announced that it has successful demonstrated bright light emission from the processed wafer using the advanced 6-inch technology. It signatures an important milestone for Lextar to become the first LED company in Taiwan to light up the 6-inch processed wafer. Lextar’s New Process Project Team employs the unique exposure and grinding technology, therefore can avoid the issue of wafer warp and crack which is the most challenging in 6-inch chip process. The company has taken a further step toward next-generation LED manufacturing process.
