GreenPeak Technologies, the world leading low power RF semiconductor company for Smart Home and IoT applications, has launched its wireless LED Lighting solution, a low-cost ambient lighting application based on the new GreenPeak GP651 communication chip that can support various ZigBee and IEEE 802.15.4 communication protocols.

Sengled, a global innovator bringing bright new ideas to the lighting industry, announced its newest smart bulb product: the Element Touch. Element Touch is an LED bulb that can be controlled by the customer at the touch of a button, as well as wirelessly through an app or home controller. It recently became one of the connected home devices certified by Icontrol Networks, and certified as Works with SmartThings™, meaning Element Touch can interact with other devices in the Icontrol and SmartThings ecosystems. 

The new Oslux SFH 4786S infrared LED (IRED) from Osram Opto Semiconductors enables iris recognition systems to be made less complex and with lower profiles. At 1.6 millimeters (mm) high, this new IRED is around one-third thinner than its predecessor. Its direction of emission is slightly angled so there is no need for the usual mechanical aids to ensure correct geometrical alignment.

Royal Philips, the global leader in lighting, has launched Luminous Patterns, a programmable connected LED lighting system that can help architects and designers create a striking visual statement using a unique combination of light, patterns and materials. Philips Luminous Patterns are decorative panels, which consume little energy,  are cost-effective and suited to a wide range of interiors, including bars, restaurants, retail stores, hotels and office lobbies.

The TIGNUM table lamp represents an elegant addition to any officeenvironment. The adjustable lighting element, measuring 107 centimetres in length, can also be slid horizontally to achieve the optimum positioning for every workplace.

Mercedes-Benz is taking a big step into the future with numerous innovations in the future E-Class, including in terms of the design of the interior, which features a wide high-resolution next-generation dual display (12.3 inches per display) that appears to hover in space. In addition, touch-sensitive control buttons on the steering wheel make their first appearance in a car. They allow the driver to control the entire infotainment system using finger swipes without having to take their hands off the steering wheel. The all-new experience is rounded off by a novel, intelligent graphic design with high-resolution visualisations and animations as well as simplified control logic. A smaller package but more output. The new Osram Ostar Projection Power from Osram Opto Semiconductors enables customers to equip even mainstream projectors rated at more than 2500 lumen (lm) exclusively with LED lighting for the first time. This efficient new light source is the successor to the P3W. As a monochrome LED it is available in red, converted green and blue. The new LED is based on the latest chip technology and advanced production methods.

Diodes Incorporated, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of high-quality application specific standard products within the broad discrete, logic and analog semiconductor markets, today introduced the BCR420U and BCR421U. These constant-current regulators (CCR) provide a simple means of driving low-power linear LED strips. Target applications are those that benefit from the improved efficiency, flexibility and longer life offered by LEDs as an emerging lighting source. Lighting leader OSRAM SYLVANIA is expanding the capabilities of the ENCELIUM® Energy Management System (EMS) with the new wireless Area Lighting Controller (WALC) which allows a group of lighting devices to communicate via a wireless mesh network based on ZigBee® standards. The WALC connects groups of 0-10V dimmable luminaires for group dimming or switching applications. The sensor terminal block allows direct connection of dual tech sensors or other low voltage sensors to the wireless network for battery elimination or additional functionality.

Taiwanese high power LED manufacturer Aeon Lighting Technology (ALT) enters LED driver market with its patented advantage. ALT is launching Zeus series 150 watts to 500 watts dimmable drivers, equipped with surge protective devise and DALI dimming control.
