Osram Lighting Solutions has drawn up a cross-location LED lighting concept for Havi Logistics. The basis for this was pan-European energy audits previously carried out by Osram in the European distribution centers of Havi Logistics. Following lighting refurbishment, up to 80% in energy costs are now being saved thanks to efficient LED technology and intelligent light management in the cold storage centers.

Revolution Lighting Technologies, a leader in advanced LED lighting technology solutions, today announced the completion of an LED retrofit project with Lehman College, the Bronx-based senior college of the City University of New York. The work, facilitated by Revolution Lighting Technologies operating division Tri-State LED, involved the installation of Revolution Lighting Technologies T8 LED tubes to increase energy efficiency and decrease utilities costs across campus. The multi-phase program has installed LED tubes, which are 60% more efficient than fluorescent lighting, to achieve an average payback of only 2.5 years.

St. James Cathedral in Seattle has used Lumenpulse’s innovative, patented Lumentalk technology to upgrade its exterior lighting system to flexible, high-performance LED luminaires with digital control. The fourth Lumiere festival closed on 15th November at 11pm. First estimates put the number of visitors at around 200,000 attending the festival over four nights. The festival is produced by Artichoke and commissioned by Durham County Council with additional support from Arts Council England and a raft of sponsors.

The TV series is being made by BBC Cymru Wales Drama in partnership with The Weinstein Company and BBC Worldwide/Lookout Point.      It’s the first LED screen project with irregular space in China, and said to be the largest LED creative ceiling curtain in the world. The whole LED ceiling curtain is composed of 11 leaf-shaped parts, each of which is divided into three different triangles with symmetrical distributions taken on a shape of fish maw. It is as long as 340 meters and its broadest side reaches 55 meters and its height is approximately 20 meters. It covers a total area of more than 8000 square meters.
