Warsaw Spire Illuminates Polish Capital with 80,000 New LED Lights

Philips Renews Streetlighting System of Polish City with Connected LED Technology

Royal Philips, the global leader in lighting, has been selected by the city of Szczecin in Poland to renew its street lighting system with LED technology. By September 2015, Philips will replace 5,000 existing street lights with new LED luminaires, reducing the city’s total energy bill by EUR 360,000 per year. The project is executed within “SOWA – energy efficient street lighting” run by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Poland.
