Bulbs.com, a major online light bulb superstore, announces "The Story Behind The Switch" contest in celebration of Earth Day, April 22, 2017. The purpose of the contest is to invite LED buyers to share their stories about what inspired them to convert to more energy efficient LED lighting.

Hull City, a city in the East Riding of Yorkshire, will start to replace its 32,000 conventional streetlights with LEDs, expected to save more than GBP 1 million (US $1.44 million) per year.
