Lemnis Lighting Releases Low Price LED Bulbs to Give Customers a Try

Lemnis Lighting has made a price war with two new LED bulbs priced at $4.95 and $6.95 for general lighting, expecting to get more consumers to adopt the switch. Despite of the low price, the bulbs do have some limitations when compared to their less energy efficient counterparts. The Pharox Blu line is available in 200-lumen and 350-lumen versions, but both give off less light than a 40-watt incandescent, which offers 450 lumens. Netherlands based Lemnis Lighting’s Pharox 300 LED light bulb was named "Best of the Test" by the Dutch Consumers' Union. According to the company, the test, conducted in October 2011, pitted the 6-watt Pharox 300 against five other LED bulbs readily available in Europe.
