Osram Ostar Stage LEDs from Osram Opto Semiconductors offer high luminance of 48 million candelas per square meter (Mcd/m²) and tunable color tones from cold white to warm white. Combined with their extremely low-profile design and glass cover with its anti-reflective coating, they provide the basis for compact spotlights with an extremely narrow beam. This LED is ideal for use in moving head spotlights on stage, for booth lighting at trade fairs and for architectural lighting. The special feature of the new LED is its tunable white light color. Two warm-white and two cold-white chips, arranged diagonally in the package, not only enable colors to be mixed perfectly at component level but also allow all white tones between color temperatures of 2700 Kelvin (K) (warm white) and 10,000 K (cold white) to be produced with appropriate control. The LED achieves a high color rendering index of 94 for warm white and 74 for cold white.

First chip-on-board LED from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors
Downlights provide high-quality background lighting in professional applications. These include shopping malls, offices, industrial buildings and high-end residential premises. The luminaires need a high luminous flux for their light to have the right effect. This is precisely what the new Soleriq series provides, the first chip-on-board LED from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. Even at high application temperatures they create the basis for highly efficient luminaires with a luminous flux of 1500 lm to 4500 lm.

With their much flatter profile the new OSRAM Ostar Stage LEDs provide the basis for compact spotlights with an extremely narrow beam and high luminance. These LEDs are ideal for moveable stage lights, known as moving heads, which provide powerful light beams for rock concerts and other impressive lighting arrangements. Instead of the usual lens, OSRAM Ostar Stage LEDs have a flat glass cover with an anti-reflective coating, giving the LED a much flatter profile. It is now only 1.23 mm high – one quarter of the usual height. Spotlights can therefore be...

Oslon SSL-LEDs by OSRAM Opto Semiconductors stand for high light output. The new generation of high-power-LEDs will be appreciated by users for its improved performance, with an efficiency increase of approximately 25 percent. Additionally, the luminous flux of the LED at elevated temperatures has now been stabilised. In doing so, it is possible to retain a virtually constant luminous efficacy, despite high application temperatures. Thanks to this optimisation, the luminaire design is significantly simplified. With the new generation of Oslon SSL LEDs, OS...
