The latest price report by LEDinside , a division of TrendForce , shows that mainstream high power LED package product prices continue to drop slowly while those of mid-power LED package products stabilized. Although, mid and large sized LED backlight market was affected by the economic downturn, LED prices for backlight applications overall declined stably at 3-6% in 4Q13, according to LEDinside’s 4Q13 LED price trend report. LED prices for lighting applications also maintained a slow downward slide. The extent of price falls varied among different product specs.

According to LEDinside’s latest price survey, the LED research division of TrendForce, the global ASP of LED light bulb dropped slightly in June. Global ASP of 40W equivalent LED light bulb dipped 4.5% to US$19.9 with prices in the United States and Germany undergoing more prominent decrease. As for 60W equivalent LED light bulb, global ASP in June dipped 2.3% with prices in most countries on a downtrend.
