As Veeco received $4 million from the US government, Kyma Technologies, a global supplier of crystalline nitride semiconductor materials, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, has cooperated with Veeco in a next generation LED manufacturing equipment development project.
Kyma Technologies will be supplying material and services to Veeco as part of this development project.
Kyma President and CEO, Keith Evans, stated, “We very much appreciate the opportunity to work with Veeco on this exciting project to accelerate growth in the LED market. In addition to thanking Veeco and, through Veeco, the US DOE for their support, we would also like to acknowledge the continuing support and vision of Congressman Price with respect to green technologies in North Carolina and to overall US competitiveness in the high technology arena.”
